Excellent

Cassidy's has retained its unique character and remains one of Dublin's historic hotels. No glitz and false marble here as, sadly, other establishments in Dublin have adopted. Impeccable room and bathroom, superb beds, and outstanding service. I have some mobility issues, and from check-in, to the lady who offered to serve breakfast at our table so that I didn't have to manage self-service breakfast in the dining room, everyone's discrete attention ensured my stay was trouble-free. The location is perfect for accessing the city, museums and theatres. Highly recommend.

Excellent

Hotel was clean and cozy, staff very accommodating. We chose Cassidy's over other similarly rated hotels in the area due to what we read regarding early check-in and that we could store our luggage prior to check-in. We really appreciated the concern expressed there and being allowed to check in as soon as possible. The customer service at Cassidy's is phenomenal. Thank you for our short but wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful stay here for the garth brooks concert. Everyone was very helpful and there was no problem leaving our bags after checking out so we didn't have to carry them around dublin all day. Only problem was breakfast wasn't included in the price I paid for the room which I thought was odd. Very central location. And I would happily stay again!

Very good

Good location on the edge of the city centre. Just a short walk to shops and the Temple Bar area for restaurants etc. Facilities at the hotel were good with limited, bookable, parking available. Room was clean with tea/coffee facilities and a comfy bed.

Excellent

I booked my room last minute from the airport and had to check in quite late. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was really comfortable and quiet. I even had a balcony for my morning coffee. And check out was a very civilized 12pm. Didn't have breakfast as I wanted to sleep on and then work. Was left to my own devices. Very reasonable price for short notice (for Dublin). Recommend.

A great place to stay in Dublin! It was right in the heart of the southside of Dublin, giving tons of places to eat and sights to see. Hotel room was clean, sizable room when you just needed a place to lay your head at night. Service was great, even amidst being very busy with gaelic football semi-finals on- got us a taxi booked when we needed it very early in the morning for a flight, got us checked into our room early as well when we arrived. Restaurant had great food and it was nice and quaint, service was wonderful.

Such a beautiful hotel, that is well presented and spotlessly clean. Located on Upper O'Connell Street, it was a perfect location for exploring the City. All bus stops, tram and taxi ranks are within a 5 minute walk of the hotel too for those people who wish to travel by other means. We did a lot of walking during our trip (and my don't our feet know about it now!) Staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful to us as tourists to the City. We were a party of 4 and so booked a quad room. Upon entry to the room,we were plesantly surprised at how much room there was. The room featured 2 x single beds and a king/queen size bed also. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, but in essence it was simply used for sleeping and resting as there was much exploring to be done. We particularly liked that when we arrived in Dublin (8am) that the hotel allowed us to store our luggage and had a great system for this in place. They took our luggage after labelling it all up with stickers and placed it into storage, we then got a copy of the label (acting as a receipt) for us to hand back in when we came back from our day out. Unfortunately we'd didn't utilise the bar area during our stay but it's very spacious and has a great atmosphere. We did however have breakfast one of the mornings prior to our departure. This was offered to us at a discounted rate due to us being hotel guests. The breakfast was a buffet style breakfast with lots of options. There was a hot breakfast (sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and black / white pudding) in addition to a selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, pastries and lather continental choices. The breakfast was amazing! Beautifully cooked and plenty of choice. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cassidys and shall definitely be returning in the future.
